1542The Villalobos expedition sailed from Mexico (Nov. 1).
1545-1563Council of Trent (Dec., 1545, to Dec., 1563). Decres published in 1564.
1564The Legaspi expedition sailed from Mexico (Nov. 21).
1565Miguel de Legapsi landed in Cebú.
